My name is Mrs. Hunter and I am a counselor at Allen Middle School.
I am excited to be a part of the Viking Family! I graduated from Bennett College for Women with a degree in English Education. I also have a Masters in School Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. I taught high school English for 5 years. Prior to coming to Allen, I was a Counselor at UNCG Middle College and Hairston Middle School.
On a personal level, I am married and I have 3 children. I enjoy reading, going out to eat, and going to the beach. My job is to promote the academic, social and personal development of all students. My passion is Character Education; I believe that Character Education is the key to having a peaceful society. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!
